Jeon Somi's debut album XOXO is a lively combination of eastern and western style pop music! The playfulness of her songs directed the design style to be a combination of nostalgia and the “It Girl” aesthetic. I was able to reference 90’s anime and youthful school-like elements that connected the flamboyance of her vibe with the themes of her album. The online store front theme was dictated by the merchandise line, so I was able to take elements from merch and use them as elements and fun easter eggs in throughout the store.
